When the weight and volume of the goods you plan to ship are less than one full container, you can choose to put them together with other consignees' goods and combine them in one container for export or import through China-Europe Express to save freight. To inquire about the price of LCL, you must provide the weight, volume and number of pieces of the goods. Usually, shipping charges are based on the number of square meters or weight.

Carton goods must be packed in pallets. If the pallets are made of solid wood, a fumigation certificate must be provided. It can also be packed in wooden boxes. There are many types of wooden boxes in railway container LCL, with different sizes and weights. Issues that should be paid attention to when loading and fixing wooden boxes include:

(1) When loading relatively heavy small wooden boxes, the seam loading method can be used, so that the upper wooden box presses on the joints of the lower wooden box, and the upper layer must be fixed or plugged.

(2) When loading small wooden boxes, if there is a large gap at the door end, it must be fixed or braced with wooden boards and battens.

(3) When a heavy, large wooden box with a low center of gravity can only be loaded with one layer and the bottom area of the box cannot be fully utilized, it should be installed in the center of the container, and the bottom must be fixed horizontally with square wooden strips.

(4) For wooden boxes with a high center of gravity, it is not enough to fix them close to the bottom. Wooden bars must also be used to support them.

(5) When loading particularly heavy large wooden boxes, concentrated loads or eccentric loads often occur, so special fixing facilities must be provided to prevent the goods from contacting the front wall of the container.

(6) When loading frames, steel belts are usually used to tighten them, or elastic nylon belts or cloth belts are used instead of steel belts.
