China imported goods worth $62.5 billion to Russia

From January to July 2023, the trade volume between Russia and China will increase by 36.5%, reaching 134 billion US dollars. Statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China prove this point.

According to calculations, China imported goods worth 62.5 billion U.S. dollars to Russia. This represents an increase of 73.4% compared to the same period in 2022. Russian deliveries to China increased by 15.1%. Their amount is $71.5 billion. In July, the trade volume between Russia and China reached 19.4 billion US dollars. In addition, Russia imported goods worth $9.2 billion to China, and China imported goods worth $10.2 billion to Russia.

The automotive industry will remain the main driver of growth until the end of 2023

Prikradova said that China's monthly sales of passenger cars to Russia have exceeded 1 billion US dollars, and truck sales are at the level of 30-400 million US dollars.
