The first Central Europe (Central Asia) train from the south of Shanxi to Central Asian countries


Recently, a China-Europe (Central Asia) freight train loaded with auto parts, manufacturing machinery and other commodities departed from Houma, a city in southern Shanxi, bound for Central Asian countries. This is the first Central Europe (Central Asia) train from southern Shanxi to Central Asian countries.

The train will run for about 8,000 kilometers and leave the country via Khorgos Port Station. The journey takes about 15 days and arrives in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries. This is also the 46th China-Europe (Central Asia) train to be launched in Shanxi Province this year.

According to the staff of the Shanxi Lue Bonded Logistics Center responsible for the cargo collection task, the train included 38 40-foot containers and 24 20-foot containers, with a load of 1,669 tons. The goods included car windshields, hydraulic hoses, pneumatic punches, construction Formwork, pipe supports and hangers and other production and daily necessities.

In order to ensure the smooth operation of the train, the Houma Depot of China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and the Shanxi Strategic Bonded Logistics Center are closely cooperating, relying on the advantages of the enterprise's multimodal transport and customs declaration, to smooth the dispatching, loading and unloading of various operations, and to collect goods on the train. Careful arrangements have been made for many links such as vehicle model selection and empty vehicle deployment.

According to reports, since the first China-Europe Railway Express was launched in Shanxi Province in 2017, the number of China-Europe (Central Asia) train lines has reached 10, and 683 China-Europe (Central Asia) trains have been operated, forming a radiating "Belt and Road" along the 13 The new pattern of foreign trade in 33 cities in 10 countries helps strengthen economic and trade exchanges between the local area and countries along the “Belt and Road”.
