The 2021 first executive council of the China Chamber of International Commerce Shandong Chamber of Commerce was held in Jinan, Shandong on September 24. Yu Fenggui, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of the Shandong Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Chairman of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce of the China Chamber of International Commerce, attended the meeting and made an important speech.

The meeting first conveyed and learned the spirit of the speech made by the Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee Liu Jiayi at the Provincial Party Committee's group work meeting and the spirit of the speech by the Deputy Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee Yang Dongqi when he visited the Shandong Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The meeting proposed that all staff of the China Chamber of International Commerce Shandong Chamber of Commerce should earnestly interpret and implement the spirit of the speeches of Comrade Liu Jiayi and Comrade Yang Dongqi, study ideas and measures to strengthen and improve the party’s group work under the new situation, and take party building as the work center to broaden their horizons and learn.

The development model of the chambers of commerce in southern provinces will give full play to the unique role of the CCPIT and the International Chamber of Commerce as a bridge link under the new pattern, and better contribute to Shandong's economic construction and actively assist in both recruitment and introduction.

Yu Fenggui, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Shandong Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chairman of China Chamber of International Commerce Shandong Chamber of Commerce, made a keynote speech on "The needs of enterprises are the focus of the work of Shandong Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Shandong Chamber of Commerce". He first analyzed the current domestic and international economic situation for everyone, and introduced the current work priorities of the Shandong Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China Chamber of International Commerce Shandong Chamber of Commerce.

He pointed out that at the macro level, strengthening the work of the China Chamber of International Commerce Shandong Chamber of Commerce is a social management under the new development pattern. An important part of modernization, the continuous enhancement of the political, advanced, and mass nature of the group organization is a new driving force for the development and growth of the CCPIT and the Chamber of Commerce; at the micro level, it actively leverages the flexibility of the Chamber of Commerce to provide detailed and upgrade services. Work must be closer to the enterprise and the private sector, and to create greater free development space for enterprises. Member companies must also have lofty goals and be in line with the world. The needs of member companies are the “No. Responsibilities" and "First Center" are in place to enhance the high-quality development of member companies.

At this meeting, the responsible comrades of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce of the China Chamber of International Commerce gave a report on the work of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in the first three quarters of 2021 and the next steps. The report reviews the basic operation of the first three quarters, and will actively explore how to provide effective services for enterprises as a starting point in the future work, relying on the background resources of the chamber of commerce, give full play to the special role of the chamber of commerce, and focus on building a "world A new era chamber of commerce with vision, Shandong characteristics, and international standards. The meeting reviewed and approved the "Interim Measures for the Human Resources Management of the Shandong Chamber of International Commerce in China" and the "Interim Measures for the Rules of Procedure of the Shandong Chamber of International Commerce in China". The project also reviewed and approved two new special committees, namely, the Rail Transit Professional Committee of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce of the China International Chamber of Commerce and the Hydrogen Industry Professional Committee.
